Attending
The U.S. Food Export Showcase appeals to international food buyers interested in unique local products and regional specialties from across the U.S. Import brokers and foreign agents also benefit from the wide array of exhibits on display. The Foreign Agricultural Service ranks the Best Prospects for U.S. Exports based on current value of imports, projected rate of import growth, and absolute market share. These top prospects include Belgium, Canada, China, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, Philippines, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
Opportunities for Foreign Buyers
NASDA works closely with USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) to promote the Showcase. NASDA works with FAS personnel in Agricultural Trade Offices, Embassies, and Consulates overseas to bring buyer delegations to the event. Identified by local FAS staff, these delegations are composed of buyers interested in purchasing U.S. food and beverage products.
